A founding member of Liberty, Phil provides invaluable stewardship having delivered some of the North West region’s most high-profile development projects over the past 38 years and enjoys leveraging our unique businesses capabilities to help landowners realise the potential of their landholdings allot quicker. When not putting himself to task in keeping up with the forever evolving national planning policy outlook, a keen sportsman, Phil enjoys motor racing, cycling, golf and spending time close to a coastline.
Having worked for some of the most prestigious names in housebuilding, mixed tenure regeneration, and land promotion from starts ups to long standing businesses in national and regional specific roles, Sam has an intricate knowledge of the planning system and housebuilding industry at both local and national levels. Sam will be your main point of contact from your very first meeting, through planning promotion, and land sale – important when projects typically range from 3-10 years. Between tending to his young family Sam enjoys time out for tennis, football, and an occasional triathlon.
A founding member of Liberty, over the past three decades Emyr has worked with all household operators across commercial, industrial, retail, and more recently residential care markets. An eye for opportunity and ability to navigate a clear path through the political and planning process Emyr plays an active role from site acquisition and promotion where he works with key stakeholders and politicians. Away from work, Emyr enjoys travelling with wife Carol and sons Tom, James, and Matthew and can usually be found cycling or sailing somewhere on the North Wales peninsula.
Joining Liberty in 1998, Mark has led the delivery of a multitude of projects across residential, retail, and industrial sectors and has an acute understanding of what it takes to drive a project forward from it’s early conception to land disposal. Working closely with Sam and Emyr, Mark ensures our planning consents are commercially prudent and compliant with all latest technical requirements meaning we are always on the front foot when negotiating the sale of your land. Away from the office, Mark is a keen golfer and snowboarder and enjoys travelling the globe with his family.
